Lara Fishman was influenced by her mother's passion for interior design, antiques, fine art, fashion and her talent for merging disparate styles, colors and patterns into beautiful cohesive living environments. This gift for the refreshingly unexpected is a birthright for Storm's Principal Designer and forms the basis of her firm's design point-of-view which always melds with the client's personality. Before forming Storm Interiors in 2000, Lara graduated from UCLA's prestigious School of Interior and Environmental Design and worked at Kelly Wearstler Interior Design (KWID) as a Senior Designer for residential and commercial projects. Lara is at the forefront of Storm's design philosophy and provides leadership to a fast-growing design and in-house technology team. Currently, Storm is designing a first-of-its-kind boutique hotel in Colombia, South America, executive offices and homes for client in the entertainment industry. To address the needs of an untapped marketplace, Storm recently launched Designers Call (http://www.designerscall.com) in the summer of 2008. Designers Call is an innovative mobile interior decorating service, created to address the growing need of consumers seeking professional design services but with a limited budget and/or little available time to embark on the traditional design process.
